We are leading providers of sports coaching to the education sector. Nurseries, Primary and secondary schools all benefit from our excellent PE Curriculum and sports provision.
Your childs after-school club can now be booked online below…
At Little Sports Coaching we offer various sports opportunities for the foundation stage and Keys stages 1 and 2. We can offer these programmes before, during and after school with no cost to the school whatsoever.
We recently surveyed over 100 primary and nursery schools in order to establish what the average spend on PPA cover is. The results showed that using one of our fully qualified sports coaches instead of a teacher or TA not only means that the PE curriculum and PPA are covered by specialist coaches but it also frees the teacher or the TA up to use their time more productively elsewhere. In addition, this reduces costs by on average £300.00 per month, saving time on lesson planning and enhancing the school’s sports provision.
Over 65 schools in Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas have chosen us to deliver the following sessions already this year:
- Breakfast Sports Clubs
- Wake up Shake up
- PPA/PE lessons
- Lunchtime sports
- After School Clubs
- School fund raising events
- School Sports Team Coaching
- Teacher Training in PE Curriculum (CPD)
If you need PPA Cover or PE support, our schemes cover all aspects of the PE curriculum and include invasion games, striking and fielding, net/wall, gymnastics and dance from foundation stage upwards.
But PPA and PE support are just part of a wider range of services that we offer. We also liaise with schools and local authorities to implement a choice of after school clubs for all ages. Once again, a big selection of sports and activities are on offer including football, street dance, gymnastics, dodgeball, tennis, hockey, basketball, and many more.
All of our coaches are fully qualified, enhanced CRB checked and attend annual first aid and safeguarding courses. All our coaches are employed full time by Little Sports coaching and are subject to termly assessments and session evaluations.
Our specialist sports coaches are available primarily within Manchester, Cheshire, Tameside, Stockport, Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Salford, High Peak, Derbyshire and Trafford. Follow the links to find out more about the services that we provide in your area.
Curriculum time lessons make up the bulk of our work in schools throughout term time. We are asked by the schools to provide a yearly sports plan, which runs in conjunction with The National Curriculum.
Along with the lessons, we provide all lesson plans. All our lesson plans are set out at the national curriculum standard.
During the course of the year we cover:
- Invasion games
- Striking and fielding games e.g. cricket, softball
- Outdoor education
We can offer coaches for lunchtime sports activities at your school.
We can do as much or as little as you need us to do. Take a look at the list of things we have already provided for other schools.
- Plan for new playground activities, then running new playground activities but letting the LTO’s take over.

Some comments from schools, parents and children
Dear Craig, I am Just writing to thank you for the excellent multi skills course that you ran over the half term break. Luke and Hannah thoroughly enjoyed themselves and i have every confidence in leaving them in your care.
Could you please pass our thanks on to Paul and Jake for their time, both have a loveley manner with the children and because of this and the activities offered, Luke and Hannah cant wait until Easter
Rob Matheson – Parent
felt i had to tell you how much James and Emilia loved the holiday course this Easter. They both attended in October and had a fabulous time and james was really keen to come back. Emilia was a little reluctant at first, but when she heard what fun James had we couldnt keep her away.
Eveyday they came back buzzing with games that you played, especially star wars which they thought was fantastic. When James won the trophy for best all rounder i cannot tell you what it meant to him. That trophy has been polished to death and everybody has to know about it. He thinks its wonderful!!
between you ,all you possess an extraordinary amount of skill and patience and we as a family want to pass on our thanks, too often you only ever hear the negative, but there are no negatives with the courses you run. We would recommend you to anyone. Thanks again and we will see you in the next holidays

I have been impressed with the enthusiasm and expertise of the coaches. All of the coaches motivate the children and have excellent control. they take their responsibilities for supervision and safety very seriously which is reassuring for us. This is why I have agreed to increase the number of after school clubs on offer. Jake has been “a Breath of fresh air” and i know he enjoys coming here! Although he is young, he takes no messing from the children at lunchtime and he has built positive relationships with everyone
