Adapted games and activities
LSC staff will follow new social distancing session plans to limit contact. Contact games and competitive matches will not be played at any point. Once equipment is used the LSC staff member will clean all equipment with an antibacterial cleaning product before the next bubble uses it. This will be planned for within the timetable. This means no equipment that travels or is passed from one child to another can be used (balls, hoops, cones etc). We will also be removing soft play equipment that will not wipe clean as easily, like bean bags for example. We will have a place where the child’s equipment can stay isolated, and only be touched/returned by the child (label it if you have the same group). This equipment becomes ‘theirs’ and theirs alone whilst they are participating in the session. Bibs or bands will not be used during sessions.
LSC will plan to use less equipment. Once equipment is used the LSC staff member will clean all equipment with an antibacterial cleaning product before the next bubble uses it. This will be planned for within the timetable.
We are currently asking that only one parent/adult attends the sessions with your child, due to current guidelines and space requirements.
The latest guidance for social distancing needs to be applied at all times. This includes pick up and drop off, when walking through the venue, as well as during their sessions. Your venue may have a one way system where we have been able to implement one. Group sizes will adhere to government guidance and be reduced to a level where social distancing rules can be applied.
Continue rigorous cleaning procedures throughout each day of delivery. Staff will carry out regular cleaning of high-contact touch points throughout the premises.
Once equipment is used the LSC staff member will clean all equipment with an antibacterial cleaning product before the next bubble uses it.
Staff will wash their hands several times a day, as well as using hand sanitizer at the session. Hand washing facilities will be provided and hand sanitiser will be readily available to use throughout the session.
We are also asking parents and adults who attend to wear facemasks during the session.
